Rob Pascoe – Managing Director, Closed Loop
Over the past twenty years as Managing Director of Closed Loop, Rob has been helping large and small businesses implement strategies to successfully tackle environmental and social challenges. He is passionate about waste and regards it as a valuable resource that we shouldn’t simply throw away.
He is particularly concerned about the amount of organic food waste that is buried in landfill each year and is striving to encourage greater food recycling and finding productive ways to use the resulting compost material.
When he’s not at Closed Loop or sitting on numerous advisory boards and groups, you might find him down at his latest sustainability project, The Farmer’s Place, or at the football with his family cheering on the Sydney Swans, where he is a director.
This is why we love Rob on our team.
Costa Georgiadis – Host of ABC TV’s Gardening Australia
Costa is a vibrant change maker, a connector of people, a voice for reason, a lover of nature, and, perhaps above all else, Costa is a teacher and also the host of the ABC’s Gardening Australia program.
A landscape architect and permaculturalist, Costa’s real passion is food. Costa has an infectious energy and ability to relate to everyone he meets. Everyone feels comfortable around Costa because, with Costa, what you see is what you get.
We’re very lucky to have him on the City Harvest team.
Grazyna (Graz) van Egmond – CEO, Banksia Foundation
Graz has been running the Banksia Foundation for the last 18 years; it is an organization that seeks out, celebrates and educates the public in what is achievable in the sustainability sector. She brings with her a wealth of experience and passion to the City Harvest board. She has an interest in creating new concepts and events, as well as bringing people and ideas together to make life a lot more interesting.
Her love and passion is shared with her family, especially her two daughters who are her most fulfilling achievement in life and are the real inspiration to her to do more for the world we leave behind for them. Can’t forget to mention she’s a crazy Hawthorn supporter….

Shaun’s passion for organic food and sustainable practice is the cornerstone of his food philosophy and has been the driving force in his life and career.
He sees food as a way of bringing people together and strengthening our culture.
Shaun is excited by growth. He loves watching the food grow in his garden and he loves watching people grow.
Over the years, his kitchens have provided opportunities of change, education and growth for many individuals and community groups including disadvantaged youths, the homeless and refugee groups.
It’s great to have Shaun on board, as City harvest is a platform where these passions will continue to work hand in hand to generate positive social and individual growth.
